Description

A free community conversation event, the Salon Series at the Molly Brown House Museum connects current headlines to historical events relevant to women’s issues and social activism. Starting with a fun Women’s History 101 lesson, each Salon is themed around a topic that connects the issues of Margaret Brown’s time to those that impact our lives today. The Salon Series is free and open to the public from 5:30 – 7:30 pm on the dates listed below.

March 5— Women of Color & the Suffrage Movement

April 2— Constricted by Corset: Bodily Autonomy & Choice

May 7— Fierce Foremothers, Steadfast Suffragists Exhibit Opening
