As Historic Denver embarks on our 50th year as an advocate and steward of beloved and historic places in our city, we’re looking back at the impact our organization has had on Denver, and the preservation of the places we all love. This is an opportunity to celebrate and to thank the many hard-working community members, property owners and civic leaders that have made historic places a part of our community for five decades.
In honor of this auspicious anniversary, and in full recognition of public health recommendations, this year’s celebration will take place in small group “watch parties” at historic sites and homes across the city, with a full virtual program including:

Entertainment produced with our long-time partner the Brown Palace Hotel

The release of a short-film highlighting the community’s favorite preservation projects of all time

A live online auction featuring intimate experiences in historic places.
There are three exciting ways to participate in the 50th Annual Awards Retrospective:
Become a Sponsor
Event sponsors can select from a menu of levels and receive premier recognition during the event and as part of the retrospective film. Sponsors can also elect to host a watch party at the venue of their choice or invite ten guests to participate virtually. With opportunities including a catered dinner at the highest levels, to a cocktail party, these watch parties will give our community the chance to connect and mingle as is the grand tradition of our Annual event. Historic Denver will provide a range of special event supplies at each sponsorship level. Sponsorship has long been the hallmark of the annual program, and a chance for businesses to demonstrate their passion and commitment to the places that make Denver Denver.
Host a Watch Party
Individuals can host their own “watch party” for up to ten with Historic Denver’s support, including instructions on accessing the on-line content, suggestions on supplies, and thank you gifts for participants. Hosts will commit to raising $1,500 for Historic Denver, either through a single donation or by encouraging gifts from invited guests and friends.
Purchase an Individual Ticket
Individuals, couples or families can participate on their own by purchasing individual tickets to the event at the VIP and grassroots levels. Individual guests will receive the links and instructions for on-line participation, including access to the entertainment, film and auction.
