Summary
Together we will explore WWMBD? – Women’s Organizations Then & Now. We will learn the history of such organizations as the LWV, NWP, NAWSA, NAACP, ACLU, ILGWU… and discuss what groups are actively championing for women today.
The theme for 2019’s Salon Series is identifying and telling underrepresented women’s stories and finding the causes and issues that encourage gender equality. Stay tuned via www.mollybrown.org, or follow us on social media for information on the remaining Salon Series events to be held on July 11; Sept. 5; and Nov. 14.
