Votes For Colorado Women
Colorado women could vote in national elections 26 years before the 19th Amendment ratification and many notions of the outcomes of women as voters were prevalent. Myth on Trial: Votes for Colorado Women looks into these notions of women as voters from Colorado’s 1893 election to 1920 when the 19th Amendment became a reality in the United States.
Myth on Trial allows you, the "jury," to decide what's myth and what is fact, all while enjoying a cocktail in one of two historic house museums! "Votes for Colorado Women" will take place at the Center for Colorado Women's History.
