Summary
A Meiji Era Matsuri
Travel to Meiji Period Japan with Margaret and JJ Brown, a favorite place after their 1903 around-the-world tour. We will explore the traditions behind the Matsuri, or festivals, celebrated in Japan, as well as the rapidly changing culture during the Meiji Era. Sample savory and sweet Japanese festival food and drink during an evening under the cherry blossoms at the Molly Brown House Museum.
Suggested for ages 21-45. All 21+ are welcome and must present ID. Events take place on 3rd floor of Museum which is only accessible via stairs.
